Our Lives of Deckadence

Stirrings in Durban's social steam-gathering brought around 250 people to the opening of Our Lives of Deckadence, a skateboard art and photography exhibition that was held at Gallery 415 in Umgeni road. It marks the inaugural production of new incarnation WorkingClass. Below are some of my preferred pieces (although taking photos of photos was weird; I wasn't that into Inception). You have another three weeks to purchase a piece.









































Showing outside was a thirty minute Super 8 film made by Brett Shaw of Murth.

Brighter Patch of Dark

I generally don't expect much of eclipses, having long been told they occur to fry the retinas of the unwary. Still, I used the excuse of Wednesday's shadowed celestial body to take pictures from high places. Fortunately, lunar eclipses only affect visionaries, not vision.

Exile In Oblivion

I've recently been asked to be the Durban representative of Exile Skimboards South Africa. With humbling generosity here is the product package I've been sent. Much love to Sean and Ian for their support and unfeigned awesomeness. Glad to be 'on board'.
