Inscape Album Launch: Isochronous in a Tropical Durban

Saturday night saw a jet-lagged Isochronous guitar-bang across a two-by-four stage in Durban's urban-fringe sanctuary, Unit 11. Having garnered a genuine throng of ever-faithful admirers (fandom is an ill-fitting mantle), it's always a pleasure to watch the friendly rapport between the prog-rockers and their crowd. The mood was established by new old kids on the block Gangs of Ballet, yellow-flecked definite articles The La Els, and Cape Town feel-goods, The Plastics. Isochronous's new album, Inscape, is finally out. If you love atmospheric synth-rock with mellifluous vocals and a kick-drum you can feel hit your throat, get a hold of it at their next show. Enjoy the light-swathed shots of the gig.
